Currently, SEAT does not offer discounts for students. We do, however, have discounts for seniors and people with disabilities. Please see our Fares and Discounts page for more information.
SEAT’s Administration Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday

For your convenience, there are several ways you can purchase a SEAT ticket. You can:

  • Make a purchase directly with a bus operator upon boarding
  • Buy in advance at one of our many ticket locations
  • Purchase online and have your tickets mailed to you
  • Utilize the Transit app and purchase your ticket on the go

SEAT welcomes passengers with bicycles, strollers, and small shopping carts on board. Our buses have a bike rack for two that can be used on a first come, first serve basis. If the bicycle rack is unavailable you may board the bus with your bike if there is sufficient space. But for safety purposes, bikes, strollers, and small shopping carts cannot block doors or aisles. 

Yes! We welcome pets and service animals. All pets must be inside a pet carrier. Service animals may sit on their owners lap or floor. They cannot sit in a seat.

We are closed on major holidays. In the event of severe weather, SEAT has arranged alternative routes to get you where you need to be. View our holidays page for more information.

Yes! All SEAT buses are wheelchair accessible and equipped with ramps or lifts to accommodate riders with mobility devices.

Alertes de service

  • 2/9/26 Norwich Transportation Center will be served this morning. The construction is finished so we will be able to stage there as usual. Stay safe and warm.

  • Service Update - Monday, February 9: SEAT buses will not be able to access the Norwich Transit Center at 6 and 7 AM due to construction activity. We should be able to return for the 8 AM trip. Buses will queue on Westside Blvd for the 6 and 7 AM trips.

  • Service update 2/8/26: RTE 108 is currently broken down at Exit 91 headed to Foxwoods. We have a replacement bus headed out asap, we apologize for the inconvenience, and will update when the route restarts.
