SEAT is pleased to announce the arrival of five (5) new 35’ Gillig transit buses. These buses are clean-diesel units, and will hit the streets beginning March 9, 2020. These buses are equipped with the revolutionary “Quantum” wheelchair securement system, which does not require belts and straps and can be operated by the customer. They are also equipped with the older “Q’pod” system that is on other buses. SEAT is offering live demonstrations of the new buses with the Quantum system on the following dates/times and locations:

Wednesday, March 4, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Norwich Transportation Center

Thursday, March 5, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, New London Water Street

Friday, March 6, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, Groton Plaza Court

Customers with mobility devices are encouraged to stop by and try out the new Quantum system.
