Key Service Locations & Transfer Points.

SEAT operates additional service locations that may offer additional services beyond standard bus transfers such as assistance with travel, ticketing and customer service. These hubs and our headquarters are essential centers for operations, customer support, and administrative functions. Looking for SEAT’s fixed-service routes? Click here.

Norwich Transportation Center (NTC)

The transportation center serves as SEAT’s northern bus station, featuring a ticket office with indoor waiting area, as well as free day parking. The transportation center was designed by DHK Architects for the city of Norwich, and opened in 2012.

NTC’s ticket office is open on Weekdays and Saturdays from 7:45am – 8:00pm. 

The NTC Ticket office is closed on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Served by the following SEAT Routes1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 980 & 982.

Service is available to additional destinations through Connecting Services including Windham, Coventry, Ashford and Lebanon.

Norwich Transportation Center (NTC)

New London Union Station (NLC)

New London Union Station (sometimes shortened to NLC) serves as the central hub for New London’s intermodal transportation as well as SEAT’s southern bus station. Parking is available at a nearby garage for a daily rate. Union Station was built in 1887 for the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad and has been the local hub in New London ever since.

Today the station is served by the Shoreline East and Northeast Regional services, as well as ferry services to Long Island and Block Island.

Served by the following SEAT Routes: 1, 2, 3, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 108.

Service is available to additional destinations through Connecting Services including Old Saybrook, Middletown, New York City & Boston.

SEAT Administration Office

The Southeast Area Transit District administration office is the headquarters of SEAT and serves as the primary offices and maintenance facility for the district. The administration office is open to the public for customer service as well as ticket and pass sales. It is located just across the Thames River in Preston.

The Administration Office is open on Weekdays from 8:00am – 4:30pm. 

The Admin office is closed on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

SEAT Administration Office

Lisbon Landing

Lisbon Landing is a large open-air shopping center that also serves as an eastern transfer point for SEAT services. Daily parking is available at this shopping center at no cost.

Served by the following SEAT Routes: 8 & 9.

Service is available to additional destinations through Connecting Services including Canterbury, Putnam, Plainfield and Thompson via a free transfer to NECTD Orange line service.

Service Alerts

  • 1/28/26 Run 108 is going to have a delayed start today, we apologize for the inconvenience

  • 1/28/26 all buses will be starting on Snow Routes until we can assess the road conditions

  • 1/27/26 Run 5 will not start going to the Industrial Park but we will not be going beyond Winnenden Road for now due to road conditions
