What is GTFS?

General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) is the open data format used by hundreds of transit agencies worldwide. It acts as a universal language for transit data, allowing SEAT’s schedules and service information to power directions and real-time updates in a variety of third-party web and mobile applications, including Google Maps and the Transit App.

The data provided through this feed includes:

  • Static Schedule Data: Fixed route, stop location, and timetable information.
  • Service Data: Operating days and special exceptions.

How to Use This Feed.

This data feed is intended for developers, researchers, and transit partners who wish to build software solutions using SEAT’s public transit information.

  • Open Standard
