Windham Region Transit District – WRTD

WRTD is a local transit agency operating out of Mansfield, with connecting stops with SEAT, providing transit to Ashford, Chaplin, Columbia, Coventry, Lebanon, Mansfield, Scotland, Willington and Windham.

CTtransit

CTtransit is the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s own bus service, providing service in the Hartford, New Haven & Stamford areas, and operates the New Haven Line and Shore Line East rail services. CTtransit also provides coordination between the various bus services throughout the state, helping riders to more easily travel throughout the state.

Amtrak

Amtrak is the US national rail passenger service agency covering stops across the country, with various rail service throughout. In Connecticut, Amtrak provides the Northeast Regional and Acela Express rail service, with stops at New London Union Station with which SEAT provides local service.

Metro-North Railroad

Metro-North is the North railroad division of the Metropolitan Transit Authority of New York City, working with CTDOT to provide rail services into and out of Manhattan with service in Western CT, with key connections and stops in New Haven and Stamford.

RIPTA is Rhode Island’s state bus service providing transport between multiple locations within the state.

9 Town Transit is a local transit agency operating out of Centerbrook, with connecting stops with SEAT, providing transit to New Haven, New London, Middletown, Durham and East Haddam.

Shore Line East

Shore Line East is a rail service provided by CT Transit under CTrail providing stops in New Haven, Brandford, Guilford, Madison, Westbrook, Clinton, Old Saybrook and New London.

Hartford Line is a partnership of Amtrak and CTrail providing regional passenger rail service between New Haven, Hartford, and Springfield.

Southeastern Connecticut Council of Governments / SCCOG

The Southeastern Connecticut Council of Governments (SCCOG) is a public agency with representatives from twenty-two towns, cities, and boroughs, formed to provide a basis for intergovernmental cooperation in dealing with a wide range of issues. The Council was organized in October of 1992, taking over the mission of the Southeastern Connecticut Regional Planning Agency (SCRPA), which had been in existence since January 1961.
